I would not say it is a classic tale of love, sacrifice and betrayal but it has it all

Why were the Deathless created? Well the answer is right here in this book. I would not say it is a classic tale of love, sacrifice and betrayal but it has it all. The book does not get into the details of what actually happened to create the werewolves but you can see the path that leads to the inevitability of their creation. The Mother has been making hard decisions for humanity a lot long longer than most people realize humans have existed.

I love these books and can't recommend each one of the series enough

Great book, I recommend each book that Chris Fox has written so far. I also recommend going to his website http://chrisfoxwrites.com/ and signing up as a beta reader. This guy is so cool, he actually keeps up with updating his fans and asks them to give him feedback and suggestions on his writing. Awesome!
P.S. Chris, if you're reading this, I think you should quit your iPhone app developers job and write full time! lol

A must read! The First Ark: Deathless Prequel, will keep you wanting more!!

Mr. Fox has detailed how Isis had gotten part of her power, who was the first undead and other goodies to keep you coming back to find out who, what, when and of course the why and how. Some questions that arose in" There are no such things as Werewolves" were answered and more questions came forth. I'm definitely waiting patiently (well maybe not so patiently) for the second book in the series. A must read!!!
