Kindle edition has resolution problems.

I have over thirty Kindle digital editions of various Archie comics loaded in my Kindle app on my iPad mini with retina display and they all are razor sharp. However, for some reason, a number of the Archie 1000 Page Mega Comics, this one included, are blurry and pixelated. It is as if some of them were never formatted in the higher resolution needed for HD tablets. Only one of the 1000 page Archie comics I purchased is fine on my iPad and that one is "Archie 1000 Page Comic Celebration." The reason that some are blurry is not because they are older issues, because the one that is fine is older than the ones that are lower res. These are great collections of Classic Archie and I would like to own them all digitally. Please fix the resolution problem and I will reorder. I have pre-ordered that latest 1000 page issue due out tomorrow and have fingers crossed that it will be ok.

Great for reluctant readers.

I'm a grade school librarian and always looking for books for struggling readers.
This is thick enough that a kid can spend a week or two reading it. (unlike a comic book.)
One of my students told me, "Mr Librarian, these Archie books are addictive!" I love to hear that!
Before putting them on the self, I covered them with librarian-grade contact plastic. They have been surprisingly durable -- better than cheap paperbacks.
As you probably know, Archie comics are criticized for how the female characters are sexualized. But, compared to any modern fantasy comic book, these are almost quaint. But, if you can look past the huge chests and short skirts, the female characters are portrayed with full personalities.

Too many overused stories

I bought this to read on the crapper. Now I read Archie a lot but they repeated so many of the same stories that that they keep reusing from the other Megas. After this many years I know there are a lot of Archie stories that I haven't seen but in this book I have just about seen them all.
