Can I help you do that?

This Daniel Tiger book illustrates how the little tiger helps his dad and mom around the house. His dad is working on a play house for Daniel and there are some things Daniel can do to assist him but a few jobs are just for "big people". In the house mom needs help fixing a door and Daniel can help her as well. There's a cool growth chart that can be removed from this book and use to keep track of you child's growth so make sure you take it out and save it. Daniel Tiger is a favorite with many youngsters and this book will be a hit too.

A huge hit with a variety of ages!

My four-year old and one-year old are both huge Daniel Tiger fans. Their grandma bought them this book, and it is a fast favorite. Both kids love the theme of helping out their parents (in this case dad) with chores around the house. My older child loves to help and can understand the more complex theme of being "big enough" to help. My younger son likes to point and name all the different tools shown in the illustrations.

loves this book equally as good as all the other ones in the series

The entire collection of Daniel Tiger books has been a tremendous asset to our nightly reading before bed. My son, who is 3-1/2 years old currently, loves this book equally as good as all the other ones in the series. In fact, we have read it together more than 50 times. It has taught it about helping mommy and daddy and now we see him walking around the house cleaning up spilled messes he made or others make. He also likes to "help" me build legos now, and constructs some awesome and interesting things. Overall, I would recommend this book for any children between 2-1/2 and 4 years of age. It's a great way to get your child interested in reading, as Daniel Tiger is very popular on PBS kids.
