Bad Kitty Teaching You How to write1

The Bad Kitty books are always hilarious, but this book is different than the others. In this book, Nick Bruel, author and illustrator, teaches children how to write a good book - with the help of Kitty herself, of course. My daughter and I had a blast reading it, and she is now doing her best to draw Kitty herself and is talking about the type of stories she can create with Kitty. I feel like this would be a fantastic book for schools to utilize, but it's great for home too!

Bad Kitty Does It Again!!

My son started reading Bad Kitty books at the beginning of this year. He loved this book just as much as the rest. In this book you get to learn how to draw Bad Kitty which he loved. The author has done an amazing job of writing this series and keeping kids hooked. All of them have inspired a love of reading in a little boy who hates school. I can't say enough great things about the entire series. It's a must read for any kids from 1st to 3rd grade.
I love that the book is easy enough for my 7yr old (1st Grader) to read on his own and only has to ask about a few words. This way he's not frustrated with stopping and starting the book so many times for me to help him and yet it challenges him to learn some new words as well.

I saw this on the shelf at the store and thought it looked cute, so I borrowed it from the library to check it out. Well, we ended up loving it so much that I had to buy a copy. My 8 year old son laughed so hard he cried - to his great surprise and confusion. He didn't know that was possible, as he'd never experienced it before! This is the first chapter book he ever read on his own, and he has since read it over and over, as well as every other Nick Bruel title we've been able to get our hands on.
