About the Author
Mary Casanova is the author of nine middle-grade novels and three picture books.She lives with her family in Ranier, Minnesota.
Sarah Davis is a welcome newcomer to Australian children's books. She has recently collaborated with Sue Whiting on DANCE OF THE SUGAR PLUM FAIRY (New Frontier) and MENDING LUCILLE, written by Jennifer Poulter (Lothian), for which she won the 2009 Children's Book Council's Crighton Award for Best New Illustrator. Sarah lives in Sydney.

Another hit in the series with a positive message!

Mary Casanova does an amazing job putting together an easily read book for young women, while making it fun and delivering a positive message.
Overall the book is about choices, teamwork and responsibility. It follows the leads choices when tackling hard problems with a business, friends, family, travel, and a dog.
These topics are mearly analogous to problems we all will face as young adults. Is it worth taking on added responsibility for added success/happiness? How do I deal with group dynamics? Am I a leader? How to I handle failure?
This book couldn't be any more positive and fun! An absolute joy to read (as I try to read my kids books)! A must buy for girls between 8 and 16 in my opinion.

Not a quick read for a 4th grader. but a good book for kids to read with parents.

My nine-year-old daughter is American Girl crazy. We read together each night for 30 minutes, and it has been AG books every stinking night for the past few months. She can't get enough of them, and my wife and I can't get enough of her actually picking up a book and reading through it. She needs plenty of help with all of the cooking-specific and French vocabulary in the Grace series, but she gobbles them up (no pun intended).
