A great book lego fans

I recently purchased this for my son from his school book fair. He is a huge Lego fan, so I thought that a Lego book would be perfect for him.
At the swamp police station, they are having a contest to see who will become the Swamp Hero. Carl, Cody, and Chloe are the officers that are competing. Everyone is so caught up in the event, that no one notices the crooks that are lingering around hoping to take the prize money for themselves. After a few challenges, they notice the prize money is missing. Now the 3 officers must track down the crooks and make it back to the event to find out who won the title Swamp Hero.
The book has easy text for young readers. The illustrations are wonderful. The content is humorous, but also shows how the officers do their jobs to catch the crooks.
Recommended for Lego lovers!!!

Oh, Lego, Never Change

This book was purchased via the Scholastic Book Fair. It is an advertisement for the new Swamp Police Station set that Lego came out with and that my son begged for. (We didn't buy since we have two other police station sets. Sorry, Lego.)
Having said that, it's a pretty good book and one that my son loves to read on his own or to have read to him. It's the story of three crooks trying to steal the prize money of the contest to pick the best cop in the Swamp Police Station. The three cops compete in feats of strength and bravery and engineering. For those of you with little girls, you'll be happy to know the female cop wins due to her ingenuity and because she is capable in both strength and engineering. For once the robber crew also has a female in their set. (With makeup on, you know she's EVIL. Bright red lipstick = EVIL in child storytelling for some reason.)
There are silly jokes and my son loves the crocs in the story. It's a winner. :)

Can the police officers prevent the crooks from getting away?

Meet Carl, Cody and Chloe, three police officers from the swamp police station, who are taking part in a contest to see which one will be named "Swamp Hero". What are the challenges for the contestants? Strength, boat building and taming wild crocodiles! However the biggest challenge comes in trying to catch the crooks who are trying to get away with the prize money!
This is a fun book for children. It is colorful and full of action albeit a little corny. All young Lego fans are sure to LOVE it!
Please note that at the time of writing this review, Amazon has the WRONG book pictured. This review is for what is titled: Cops, Crocs, and Crooks which has a totally different cover than what is shown!
Please also note that this book is NOT suitable for all Kindles. If you have a Paperwhite then you will only be able to view it on your Cloud Reader.
