Not great for learning colors

We haven't enjoyed this as much as other Duck and Goose books. The pages have many different colors on them rather than focusing mostly on the named color and some of the colored objects are small or not the focus of the page. If your child is struggling with learning colors like mine, this is confusing. If you just want another book starring two of your favorite characters, it's fine though.

Great book for teaching colors

I really think that the duck and goose books are terrific. I enjoy them personally and am always glad to have an audience to give me an excuse to read them. This one is such a good way to teach colors to little folks. The pictures are cute as could be and little children really do seem to like this book a lot. That's what it's all about as far as I am concerned. Great book.

Better aimed for older toddler, not as introductory.

I purchased this for my 6 month old granddaughter. The colors demonstrated in this book are okay, but not your basic primary colors that I thought would be introduced. This is fine for supplemental teaching of colors, for a slightly older toddler, but I'm going to continue to look for a book that will teach the primary colors. I wasn't fond of how the colors were depicted. Again, better as supplemental reading for an older toddler instead of introductory teaching.
