~~Five stories plus jokes~~

This book has five stories and some cute jokes at the end. All of the stories are perfect for Valentine's Day and I selected a couple that were my favorites.
The first is "The Perfect Day" in which Elaine and her brothers plan a wonderful day for her Mom. Elaine goes shopping with her and she has a facial and a massage. The morning started out with the children making breakfast for her. The brothers got in a mess while in the kitchen but Grandmother came to help them. The ending is wonderful as Dad makes an appearance.
The second one that I enjoyed is "Be My Valentine" as it explains what Valentine's Day means. The story is written for ages 3 - 10 and P - 4.

What a delightful mad week set of stories just for kids, that I would recommend especially for kids ages 3-10!

Not really great for elementary ages.

After reading through this, I did not feel the stories were good for young children, they are a lot about jr. high crushes. The exception was the one near the end about the daughter helping her deployed father make a special Valentine's Day surprise for her mother.
